About

Welcome to the Cake, Bake and Craft Club

Over the past two years we have had the pleasure of organising fantastic demonstrations from Ben the Cake Man (Senior Cake International judge, Television Celebrity and top Cake Decorator), Bethany Evans (Wedding & Events Lounge, Nuneaton), Neetha Syam (buttercream flowers), Cassie Brown (Multi-award winner, Author, Tv Personality  & International judge), to name a few. Along with demonstrations we also hold great sociable workshops such as pottery painting from The Pottery Shed, jewellery making with Beadelicious, Book folding, Sugar modelling, Wreath making, glass fusing, cake pops, Flower arranging and cookery/ baking from Indian cuisine to Foccacia and pate experiences

If you would like to come along to any of our meetings as a visitor (non-member) then you are very welcome. Due to the content of most of our meetings, we would need you to contact us beforehand. Non-members are always welcome and will expect to pay the full non-member door fee. Once you have paid your full yearly memberships by a full month the door fee is reduced and subsidised by the club.

Our meetings are held at Mancetter Memorial Hall, Atherstone at 7 pm on the third Wednesday of each month

The meetings have the form of either a demonstration or a workshop where we all have a go at making something, see our events for the details of each meeting.
During each meeting, free refreshments: tea, coffee & cake are available.

Members range from those, who do sugarcraft professionally to absolute beginners, creative members include card making, flowers etc and our evening’s programme reflect this variation. So if you find a demonstration a bit advanced, don’t worry: the next one will be less so.

Workshops allow everyone to have a go at making something under the supervision of a more experienced member or a profession guest tutor. They are also a good way of getting to know everyone.
